Reading Challenge

We’re excited to invite all our children and families to take part in this year’s Summer Reading Challenge, organised by East Riding Libraries! This fun and engaging challenge encourages children to keep reading throughout the summer holidays, helping to maintain and develop their reading skills while enjoying fantastic books. It’s completely free to join, and children can collect rewards and certificates along the way. Visit your local East Riding Library or head to eastridinglibraries.co.uk to find out more and get started. Let’s make reading an adventure this summer!
To continue our Reading for Pleasure journey that the school has embarked upon this year, Mrs C Lawson has set the children a challenge over the summer holidays to find their favourite thing to read and the most obscure place they can to read it in. If your child would like to take part in this challenge, then please take a photo and send it to the school office for September so that we can make a 'Reading for Pleasure' display.
