National Careers Mark Award

We are delighted to announce that Keyingham Primary School has been awarded the prestigious Quality in Careers Standard (Career Mark), a nationally recognised award that celebrates excellence in careers education, information, advice and guidance.

This achievement recognises the work we do to inspire our children from an early age, helping them to understand the wide range of opportunities available to them and encouraging them to dream big about their futures. Throughout the year, our pupils take part in a variety of careers-related experiences, including meeting professionals from different industries, taking part in themed careers events, learning about the world of work and developing the skills that employers value most.

Our recent Careers Week was a fantastic example of this, with visitors from a wide range of professions sharing their experiences and inspiring our pupils. These opportunities help children make meaningful links between their learning in the classroom and the exciting possibilities that await them in the future.

Receiving the Careers Mark is a reflection of the dedication of our staff, the support of our wider community and, most importantly, the enthusiasm and curiosity shown by our pupils.

We are incredibly proud of this achievement and will continue to build on our careers programme, ensuring every child leaves Keyingham Primary School with the confidence, ambition and aspirations to shape a positive future.
