This week in class we have been reviewing the following learning from this term: in Jigsaw, how do I keep healthy? In RE, who do Christians believe made the world and how can we protect it? In writing, how do I write a letter? In music, how does music make the world a better place? In DT, how do I feel about my tower? We also enjoyed a little Easter fun by making crispy buns!

Our Flashback 4 Questions have been:

  1. Today: In maths, complete the number pattern:

2. This/last week: In history, which vehicle was Dotty’s? How did you know?

3. This term: In RE, what can we do to look after the world?

4. Last term: In science, name the material: it can be grown outside, used for many different pieces of furniture and is strong, what is it?

In Phonics: the children are all making progress with their reading and are doing a super job with changing their books. Please check their book bags for new QR Code for new videos to watch to support the Phonics Screening test coming up next term

PE Days: our days are Monday and Wednesday

Book Bags: please send your child with their books on a Monday to be changed for the week. Please spend the week reading the three books that the children now have in their bags. In addition, your child may come home with a ‘Little People Big Dreams’ book of their choice. If you read it with them and they are able to answer the questions on the inside cover, they can bring it back to earn more house points from Mrs White if they get them all correct.
