This week in class we have been asking: in RE, how might some Jewish people get ready for Shabbat? In geography, where is Kenya and what is it like? In science, what are all of the 5 senses and why do we need them? In music, how can I use the glockenspiels to improvise? In Jigsaw, what physical contact is appropriate to greet my friends with? In maths, how do equal groups help me to share numbers? In history, what is VE Day?

Next week we will be asking: in science, which senses do I need for taste and smell? In geography, is Kenya like Keyingham? In Jigsaw, what makes me a good friend? In RE, what special objects are needed to bring in Shabbat? In Music, why are there different sized notes on the glockenspiel? In writing, do all sentences have full stops? In Maths, what are fractions?

 

In Phonics: the children are all making progress with their reading and are doing a super job with changing their books. Please check their book bags for new QR Codes for new videos to watch to support the Phonics Screening test coming up next term.

PE Days: Monday and Wednesday

Book Bags: please send your child with their books on a Monday to be changed for the week. Please spend the week reading the three books that the children now have in their bags.
